The River Café was established in 2004 as a small cheese shop that offered quality food products that were made in-house and sourced from the local regional bounty of the United States. As years passed, the café evolved in the direction of deli and restaurant style food, becoming well known for its flair for beautifully crafted home-style cooking. Using the best ingredients in the organic market ultimately allows us to bring honest clean food to your plate in a healthy and vibrant manner.

Ranging from students to professionals in the hospitality field, our staff is here to provide you with the best dining experience possible.Claire Palazzo, owner of the café, has worked here since 2006, when she was hired as a prep cook. Having grown up in family restaurants, Claire is passionate about the service she provides to the community at large and inspired by the changes that she sees occurring in the food industry since the time of her childhood. She believes that everyone deserves clean healthy food and is determined to provide that to everyone who walks through here doors.
